Russian-German Institute is organized in accordance with the University Rector’s order of January 24, 2008. Institute was inaugurated on March 25, 2009 in MIIT’s Ceremonial Hall. The Rectors of major universities of Nordrhein-Westfalen (Germany) attended the ceremony.

Pursues academic and research activities in the field of management, economics, information security and international industrial and economic systems;
Provides for training in the most popular specialities;
Introduces latest Russian-German and other international education programs and meets requirements of modern Russian and German labor market;
Provides young Russian specialists with wide range of professional competencies at the European level;
Pays special attention to language and cultural and country-specific training;
Contributes to building up and developing effective skills on the basis of three on-site training courses and study-abroad programs.
Organization of academic process in Russian-German Institute meets the basic requirements of Bologna process.
Russian-German Institute has a license to test knowledge of German as a foreign language and issues a relevant Institute’s Test-DaF (Germany) certificate.
Active education methods and information technologies are widely used in classes in Russian-German Institute.
Language lab - Computer class
Leading professors and teachers of MIIT, major Russian and German partner Universities and representatives of Russian business community are involved in academic process.
On-site training takes place at government agencies and organizations, in Russian and foreign companies.
Russian-German Institute sends annually the most gifted students for internship and “study abroad programs” to prestigious Universities and major companies of Europe.
The students have an opportunity to study two foreign languages (English and German).
A large-scale pilot project begins in RGI together with Ruhr University (Bochum, Germany) to carry out study program providing for two diplomas.
The Institute’s graduates can work in transport, industrial, trade and export companies and their foreign representative offices or branches.
