Alexander T.Bogdan graduated from Vinnitsa railway college in 1973. Having served in the military he entered Moscow Institute of Railway Engineering and graduated from it in 1982 majoring in “Industrial and civil engineering”. Upon graduation he worked in MIIT as a trainee-researcher, postgraduate student, engineer, senior engineer, head of Repair and construction department-2, head of MIIT self-financing repair and construction division. In 1988 he became chief engineer of construction department of Ulan-Bator railway (assignment in Mongolia). Since 1991 he has been pro-rector in charge of organizational and productive activities.

Alexander T.Bogdan has over 20 scientific publications. He specializes in the field of industrial and civil engineering.

Alexander T.Bogdan was awarded breastplates “Distinguished Railwayman”, “Distinguished Railwayman of Mongolia”, “Distinguished Transport Builder”, “In honor of 850th anniversary of Moscow” medal as well as with awards of the Ministry of Railway Transport.
